CURNICOPIANS::

Importance of technology in the environment

There have been many problems in our environment such as greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, air and water pollution, acid rain and finally, fossil fuels and its consequences can be really severe and harmful for everything and everyone. We as curnicopians, truly believe that the improvement and practical use of technologies that do not damage nature or the environment is critical to preserving and improving the value of life. We also believe that the wise use of technology is a necessary requisite for sustainable development and progress. Technologies that use resources efficiently as possible and diminish environmental damage while increasing industrial productivity and definitely, improving the quality of life on Earth. Throughout the years, new technologies have developed according to the amount of population and economic pressures and demands for safety, food, better health, security between others. Technological advances have made possible new sources of energy, better health care, developed materials and have also improved productivity and different food supplies.

Natural resources:

As Aldo Leopold said in his essay, about the weather nature and how it has to be preserved of the economical and practical benefits for the humans.  He isn’t right because we can see the different perspectives of this.  Having natural resources provides human beings to stay alive. During the past years the technology has improve a lot since humans have been discovering each time more and more. Even though the natural resources are important, technology has improve a lot and discovered new things and have more inventions where humans cannot live without technology.  Everything has change through time and all humans are used to live with technology. For example humans cannot change the way they live since it is really hard for them. There are many works of technology that is involved on with natural resources that it will be really important in the future for all the next generations.

The truth is that the only thing essential to life is humans. Without humans the world would not be what it is, and would never become the thing it is now. The world need humans being in order to persist and the technological advances the humans had created. Nature is not really necessary, the advance in technology has incremented in such a way that nature can now be replaced because of technology. We have concluded that nature is now something unreal, whatever we need we can now create it.  And that is the only thing essential for life, we are sure we don’t care what will happen there. So, we think that it doesn’t matter what will happen to nature, humans and technology will be able to reproduce everything that once got lost.
