SOFT ECOLOGISTS 

“Generally, the richer the person is, the more access he/she has to the earth’s natural resources and the greater their ability to disturb the balance of the earth. Indeed, humans have begun to act as if they control the system and can manipulate it, as they want, without any consequences. In this chapter we will explain how this is not the case and that human beings will have to alter their approach to the way they exist in the world if they want to remain a thriving part of its carefully balanced ecosystem”

This information is exactly what we think, as soft ecologist we have discovered that the effect of both communist and capitalist countries are extremely important towards nature because they are both exploiting it. In one hand we have the point of a Capitalist society.  Capitalism cannot function without and strict government and there is more regulation. On capitalism there is more exploitation because they are searching more for having money and being stable on economy. It is really important for all the capitalists to have the economy with new jobs for having more money and consumers to buy things. They said that capitalism is confronted because of sustainability. It also depends on the need of the present and do not diminish the opportunities for the future, it is because they need sustainability for keep on growing. It is for industrial economic development. It happens on the natural environment it has been polluted because of extraction and exploitation. All of these industries and fabrics explode and extract the economic value from nature and it affects all the societies.  That is why the economy development cannot be sustained without nature and society. As soft ecologists we agree that technology is important but also nature, so that is why we should understand that as capitalism need to explode and extract from nature it is also affecting nature with all the  industries and nature is going to have problems with the global warming. 

Sustainable development is the new word used to define a new way of communism-based in a worldwide power which is ecofriendly. This environmental power is a process of leading the actions people make, based upon the impact their actions are going to have towards nature or the environment. This sustainable development originates in the UN and this way of governance spreads across all its member nations including the ones from USA. The complete name of sustainable development is “The UN’s Sustainable Development Agenda 21” and was presented to the world in a very important conference in 1992, where George Bush agreed with this treatment and applied it immediately on American soil. Not only it was implemented, but last year, it was applied into 500 major cities in the USA.

We as soft ecologists think that this way of power and governance is pretty good and may help a lot in future development. Communists just do the necessary and think before they do any actions which can cause a problem to the environment. They do use technology but not in huge amounts because they care more about the natural side, which is actually perfect.
