we are the curnicopians responding to the deep ecologists.
We do not agree with your point of view of a capitalist society, while you demonstrate the effects of consuming you are basing your arguments directly on the food industry. We believe that the government allocation of resources its what is harming population not the actual product or the economical system that rather the bad management of it.  However a continue development of technology allows for resources to be allocated more effectively, it has historically been proved that communism is an utopian mentality and idea which can not be apply do to the certain characteristics of humans such as greed and ambition which would always bee presentes. As it was seen in the USSR from ww2 on.

Capitalism is based in the competition and the supply and demand. There is the idea of being better than your competition, in that way there is progress and the quality will always get better. capitalism has forced new instruments which later will improve the life expectancy. There is big difference between the countries that have capitalism and the ones that don’t. for example in U.S.A, Australia, japan and more capitalist countries the life expentancy is between 80 to 82 years and in the countries with little capitalist effect there is a lower life expectancy. For example in countries such as Senegal, Nigeria, Cambodia(which are also undeveloped countries with out any progress) and more countries the life expectancy is between 53 to 64. There is a notable diference between those countries(capitalismislife). With this idea we can also add that there has been also a difference in the life expectancy between the years of 1500(there was no technology) and in know a days. The life expectancy before technology and industries(due to capitalism), was between 30 and 40. Know with all the new technology and the advances people´s life expectancy figures more than 75 years old (longevity). Capitalism ideology is based on production and the industries grow in notable way. Industrialization is about the mass production that increases effectiveness, quantity and the diversity of the goods. In communism there is no sense of competition and no improvement of things (capitalismislife).
